West Michigan Country Music Showdown

The Intersection in Grand Rapids, Michigan will be hosting its first annual country music showdown in conjunction with 93.7FM B-93. They have had a ton of success from this type of event in the rock genre with the Heavyweight Series that has been running for over 10 years now. The Intersection, thanks to the local country scene, has grown into a must play for national country acts and they would like to focus on some of the bands that have helped get them there.

They will run 4-5 bands per night with a nightly cash prize of $300 for the preliminary round winners. Five (5) bands will advance to the finals where the Grand Prize winner will receive a Cash Prize of $2,000 + a package that they are still putting together of gift cards, photo shoot, prime opening slots for national acts at The Intersection, possible studio time and other great prizes. Winners for the first 3 nights are chosen strictly by fan votes and the finals are a combination of crowd voting and a panel of judges.
